What Techunique is
Techunique is a practice and training tool. It uses AI to generate practice scenarios, feedback, and progress estimates for technical skills. It is a study aid, not a certification, license, or credential, and it is not affiliated with the EPA, CompTIA, NATE, or any licensing board or certification body.
Your account
You need an account to practice. Keep your credentials to yourself, give us accurate information, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent usage limits, or interfere with other users.
Subscriptions and refunds
Pro is billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, with a free trial for new subscribers. You can cancel anytime from Settings and keep access through the end of the paid period. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we will make it right.
AI-generated content
Practice scenarios, feedback, and scores are generated by AI. They are useful for learning and directionally honest, but they can be wrong, and they are not professional advice. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and gas work can be dangerous and are regulated: always follow your local code, your training, and the law, and never treat a practice answer as authorization to perform regulated work. Exam-prep tracks supplement official study materials; they do not replace them.
Your content and data
Your practice transcripts and progress belong to you. We store them to run the product (see the Privacy Policy). You can delete your account and its data by contacting us.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, Techunique is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
